Spring will be here soon and our seed order arrived today. Radishes, several different lettuce varieties, snow peas. Buckwheat to sow in the half of the vegetable garden that will lay fallow this year. Flowers including many natives to sow this fall, replacing a good good portion of the turfgrass in the front yard.
That’s a LOT of lettuce! I loved growing buckwheat as a cover crop and for the bees, and had quite forgotten about it. Thanks for the reminder. I’ll get some!
Thank you for commenting! We enjoy having several varieties of lettuce and savour the varied taste, texture, and colour. This is the first year we have grown buckwheat and are very interested to see how it goes.
