Bounty
Bounty from our berry patch – two plus cups of strawberries and one of haskap, our third harvest of each. Very tasty and enough to freeze for later.
Although
Although this photo of Lucy holding her ball appears to be out of focus, it is not. Look closely.
Breaks
Evening sunlight passes through a bevelled window, breaks into its component colours, and shines on a beautifully polished floor.
Glows
This hibiscus flower positively glows in a beam of late afternoon sunlight.
At work
A honeybee at work, gathering pollen and nectar from a birdsfoot trefoil in a bed outside an entrance to my workplace.
Cheerful
This flower greets me every morning at work. It inhabits a bed of wildflowers next to one entrance and I made an executive decision when the lawn care team arrived, instructing them to leave the bed untouched. (A co-worker uncharitably calls them weeds.)
Cruises
A Mallard Duck cruises past two Canada geese.
I’m very fortunate to be able to capture such images during my work day.
Patrols
A robin patrols our lawn, on the lookout for tasty food.
Roiled
Scud, the lowest level of clouds, are roiled in advance of an impending rain shower.
