Wondrous

I me across these two moths while puttering in the backyard. Their wingspan was about 5 inches or 12 centimeters. I learned they are Cecropia silkmoths. Lovely and wondrous creatures.

    1. Indeed! I’ve never seen one before nor has anyone I have spoken to. Apparently they are neither a pest nor a rarity. Seeing them is a gentle indictment of spending too much time in front of a screen, and a reason I enjoy spending time in the backyard.
