While reviewing and archiving photos, came across this, one of the first photos of Stella way back in 2004, who has gone on ahead. It seemed to be worth sharing.

Golden girl.
Our golden girl.
The tomato patch.
The three Chocolate Cherry Tomatoes we planted have been more successful than we anticipated. We have picked more than a dozen pints’ worth so far and have many more pints’ worth on the way.
WordPress is not allowing me to upload the photo. Imagine a jungle of three plants, six feet tall by six feet wide. Imagine crawling on elbows and knees into the jungle, looking for ripe tomatoes. This is the happy problem we have.
That was OK?
Well . . . you know I really like hockey balls . . . they are my favourite toy . . . and I smelled the bag . . . and it was full of them . . . and it was within reach . . . and well I wanted to make sure you got the number you ordered . . . wanted to help . . . hope that was OK?
Yes that’s OK Lucy.

Bounty.
Twenty minutes’ time yielded this bounty from the Chocolate Cherry Tomato patch.

A blur.
A play session between Fitzi and Lucy developed so quickly I could not capture a moment. It was a blur.

Cheery.
The sunflower adds a very cheery note to our vegetable garden.

Sharing.
Spending some time at the beach meant sharing some space and time with this Ring-billed Gull.

Safety inspector.
I was cutting some lumber outside, stepped away for a few minutes, and returned to find this mantis standing on top of my workpiece. I presume it was acting as a safety inspector.

Lovable Lucy.
