This spider was pointed out to me. I *think* the whitish thing is an egg sac or case, but I am unsure. It was kind of cool to see.

Crows gather by the tens, perhaps hundreds, of thousands in the largest town in my municipality. Huge gatherings in urban areas seem to be a relatively recent – in the past few decades – phenomenon.
Faye and I observed these crows flying, as well as others perched on the pediments of a strip mall, during a recent late afternoon shopping trip.
We thought it was kind of cool.
This Praying Mantis caught my eye as I made my rounds.
A spider’s web is brilliantly illuminated by a parking lot’s lights. My hand held camera resulted in some shake, therefore resulting in some blurring.
