Of all flowers, Johnny Jump-ups are one of my favourites. We are blessed to have them in abundance.

Well . . . you know I really like hockey balls . . . they are my favourite toy . . . and I smelled the bag . . . and it was full of them . . . and it was within reach . . . and well I wanted to make sure you got the number you ordered . . . wanted to help . . . hope that was OK?
Yes that’s OK Lucy.
A favourite early spring flower is this, the Grape Hyacinth.
To better enjoy this Johnny Jump-up, I got down to its level. It is another of my favourite flowers; we let them self-seed and jump up almost anywhere they can.
Forget-me-nots are among my favourite flowers. Last years’ havoc wrought to the flower bed along the shed foundation didn’t faze these survivors. Seeing this hardiness added to my fondness for these delicate yet hardy plants.
Taking my usual Wednesday break, back on Thursday.
Teasel heads call to me. Though I know they are a ‘weed’ I like how the stalks are so straight and how the seed heads are so fuzzy. They are a favourite subject.
