A hole in the clouds.

Last night, as a rain shower moved almost overhead, I happened to look in the right direction at the right time to see this, a hole in the low cloud cover revealing a sunlit cumulus way up high.

Foggy morning.

The drive to work on a recent morning was fine. It became extraordinarily foggy after I arrived. This view looking across the road barely revealed the phragmites about 60 meters away.

Peeking

Peeking

During my visit to the foggy St. Clair River the fog didn’t lift for a moment, it dropped. Treetops and antennas peeked out yet all at ground level remained shrouded.
