I’m obviously not posting daily. Apologies to my readers.
Getting motivated to photograph and post has been a struggle. I’ve been pretty uninspired lately and my photography shows it. I do like photography, like having a purpose for taking so many photos every month. Perhaps I’m hitting a slump. Readership has been pretty slow recently, direct WordPress hits as well as FB hits. Why? Can I improve? How? I’ve pondered whether it’s worth continuing? I’m the only one who can answer that last question.
It’s been a busy time. Faye’s been working outside our home and is gearing up to really work. Tomato season starts next week and she’ll be working long hours every day for several weeks. So we’ve been snatching precious deck time, together time.
A part of our deck has come un-from-together and we’re wondering if we can only do the necessary repair or need to replace the entire thing. We bought a day bed to serve as a guest bed and as a perch from which to watch movies. It’s a jigsaw puzzle, doing this means we are shuffling furniture around, rejigging what became familiar, figuring out how the new plan works. Need to re-install the door at the entry of the room formerly known as the man cave.
Other events, circumstances, concerns have pulled me away from posting.
I’m not complaining, whining, whinging. Sob stories and pity parties don’t interest or impress me and I have no desire whatsoever to ask for or to get pity. Life brings change and challenge, life is change, change is life. It’s a very good life and one I won’t trade.
