A lovely sunrise. A gift from The Maker (or Makers) of All Things.

I was fortunate to see the rising sun briefly appear above the horizon before disappearing behind a deck of clouds.

As the molten white sun rises, a phragmites head waves in the morning breeze.

A brilliant late fall dawn graced this morning. It was most welcome, after a snowfall and two cloudy mornings.

This close-up of small ferns growing out of a fallen log could easily be mistaken for a close-up of a conifers’ leaves.

A sand traps’ sand grains made an interesting subject.

The sun breaks over the horizon.
It’s good to be alive, to see such a spectacle.

Heralding the arrival of a new day, the approach of autumn, and the approach of migration, a flock of Canada Geese flies across my field of view.
