Had to stop.

My morning commute was graced by this most marvellous scene. I was compelled to stop and enjoy the beauty.

Ablaze.

A wedge of the eastern sky was ablaze this morning.

A reminder.

Though this shirt is well over 20 years old and has long been relegated to work-around-the-yard duty, it is a reminder of a good cause and perhaps the best organization I have had the pleasure to work for.

Good dogs!

A fine companion.

fine companion with which to share the first morning of Daylight Saving Time.

Sojourn.

After a morning of cold rain and wind, which we spent at work, we were blessed with a very pleasant afternoon and enjoyed some time on the deck.

Revisiting.

Revisiting a fall evening with Achilles, aka Chili Dog, gone on ahead.

Still light.

There is light in the southwestern sky at 6:00PM. A timeless reminder that, while winter still reigns and will for a while yet, seasons turn.

All tucked in.

And emitting a gentle, rippling snore.

It’s good to have a dog.
