Harvest.

We spent time shelling beans on a delightful November afternoon. Not much yield by volume – perhaps two cups – and certainly not enough to be self sufficient. Yet, we grew them.

Surprised

I was surprised to find that these delicate flowers have survived several light frosts, a hard freeze, and a snowfall. Resilience and toughness, good qualities to have and attend to.
