It was a marvellous morning.

It was a marvellous morning.

The country sky is immense, all encompassing. I love being able to see from horizon to horizon.

During our trip through Texas, we stopped for lunch at a picnic area near Sanderson. Using my eyes, the fence was the only evidence of human influence. Using my ears, the occasional car passing by was the only evidence of human influence. Otherwise, it was quiet except for the sound of the wind, and an occasional bird call. It was peaceful and induced contemplation.
It was wonderful.

The sight and sound of falling water is mesmerizing, soothing, calming, peaceful. It is easy, healthy, necessary, to lose oneself in the experience.

A late fall morning begins gently, softly, peacefully, beautifully.

I reviewed some of my photos with Faye. She suggested that I revisit this tree and capture it through the seasons. A wonderful idea. So, a Fall portrait.
