Spring is truly here: First sighting this year of a Ruby-Throated Hummingbird. It’s been a miserable few days to be a hummingbird – chilly, damp and at times rainy. I’m very happy to be able to help out.

Fitzi helps out in the kitchen by keeping the ‘yips’ (sprites that make you forget stuff) at bay on this busy day.

Were I closer to the unfolding tragedy I’d donate more than money. From this distance, money is best – its flexibility means it can be used to melp meet whatever need is most pressing.

We recently had a short yet most delightful sojurn at a treehouse. After settling in, Faye and I strolled down a nearby country road. We returned to discover that Achilles and Stella provided much help during our absence. They ensured that the sleeping platform did not float away.
