Same game, different location.

Tug o’ war continued in the living room. We finish drying laundry on a rack in the living room and Fitzi was inside the duvet cover tent’.

Tug o’ war.

Lucy (left) and Fitzi play tug o’ war. We are so fortunate that our dogs get along so well.

Companions.

Boof.

Even when relaxed and in a favourite place – on the couch between us – Lucy is ever on guard. An unfamiliar sound outside compelled her to raise her head and say ‘Boof.’

(Well am having no success uploading the photo.) Success!

What a talented girl.

Lucy will occasionally try to pick up two things. Here, with ball in mouth, she tries to pick up a Kong/rope toy.

She succeeded. Of course it was too quick to capture with the camera. What a talented girl.

Favourite place.

And Lucy curled up in a favourite place – on the couch.

A swell dog toy.

A rinsed, empty pill supplement bottle can be a swell dog toy.

Lucy, update.

It turned out to be a small scrape on the pad, rendering it sensitive. Since she was largely back to normal by Monday, Labour Day, we decided to continue watching through the week. She’s fine, back to her normal self. Here she is tonight, watching the world go by.

We’re pleased that she is her old self.

Lucy, resting.

She has not been active today – her right front is bothering her. We are watching it and if not better by Tuesday, off to the doggy doctor.

Poor pup. She has always been such an active girl, it is really different to see her not running and jumping and playing.

All that was missing . . .

. . . was a gentle, rippling snore. Or a loud buzz-saw snore.
