Watched.

Fitzi, head cocked a bit to his right, watched Faye come out the door.

He is such a good dog.

Something caught her eye.

I saw nothing out of the ordinary. But then, I am not a dog so I obviously missed it whatever it was.

Visited.

At least two deer visited my work site overnight. The soft ground resulting from recent rains meant that their hoof prints were easy to see.

Keeps an eye.

Although Lucy is always ready for a game of Chuck-it!, she still keeps an eye on things.22B6E2BD-74AB-4228-A974-953B21522D41_1_201_a

Learning

Learning

I’m learning to open my eyes, look down and up and around, to find blessings in unexpected places and at unexpected times. I’m learning how much I don’t know, and that’s good. It’s humbling and that’s also good.

Gray day

This morning’s sky was almost uniform, almost featureless. Look closely though and the observant viewer will see subtle shadings of light and colour.
