Kendal is 12 1/2, our elder statesman. His eyes are bright, coat healthy, appetite good, willing and ready to walk. The scare we had at the first of this year has made me much more appreciative of how blessed we are to have such a healthy boy.

I have never looked at wheat other than through the ‘big picture’ lens,that is as a field, as the forest. Today I looked at the tree, the stalk of wheat. What a beautiful work, what art.
