Glorious.

Though I was at work and about to get very busy, I had to stop and savour this glorious October sunrise.

It’s good to be alive.

Stands out.

A fallen Silver Maple leaf stands out from the deck boards and fallen Manitoba Maple leaves. No, I did not arrange this.

Pleased.

I was pleased and blessed to come across this slope covered with attractive flowers while I was out for a walk.. What they are I do not know. While humans may call these plants ‘weeds’ the many honeybees I saw were quite busy harvesting pollen.

Work of art.

I walked early on a foggy morning and was blessed to come across this work of art.

Lucy, update.

It turned out to be a small scrape on the pad, rendering it sensitive. Since she was largely back to normal by Monday, Labour Day, we decided to continue watching through the week. She’s fine, back to her normal self. Here she is tonight, watching the world go by.

We’re pleased that she is her old self.

Country road, dawn

Does not begin.

This photo does not begin to capture this sunrises’ delicate hues. It was so lovely, and I would have preferred to continue watching it reveal its beauty.

Although I had to press on to work, I was so blessed to witness this.

All that was missing . . .

. . . was a gentle, rippling snore. Or a loud buzz-saw snore.
