Frog

Exquisite beauty

Abut 7mm of rain fell yesterday and another 13mm overnight, making the yard much too wet to work in. So we took a drive, then stopped for a walk in a bush. We were treated to many wonderful sights, sounds, and experiences. It was a treat to see many, many White Trilliums, Ontario’s floral emblem. This one was particularly exquisite.

We took a walk along the Sydenham this afternoon and Faye led me through the bush fringing the river. We came across these beautiful wildflowers and admired them. I had to get down on their level. It is chilly at night yet spring is here.
Nature, god, the maker, what have you endowed our world with remarkable beauty.
Turkeys

One morning they were in the field between the bush and the highway so I stopped for a moment. They didn’t care for my presence and edged away yet I was able to capture three of them.
