I captured this White-throated Sparrow in the boxelder just off the deck. In looking up its entry on the All About Birds site I came across its lovely call. So this is the song I’ve heard the past few days! I invite you to click the link and listen to its cheerful tune.

I knew it would be difficult to hold the camera steady in the stiff breeze. The morning’s grandeur was too compelling to to pass up.
