Faye and I went for a drive in the country the other day, taking random turns along the way. At times we were not sure where we were and that was fine. It can be enlightening to occasionally explore new territory, to be uncertain of your bearings.

We came across an inexplicable sight today while driving a country road. These two things out in a pasture, some distance from the road and from any houses, appear to be old upright pianos. They were just too far away to make a positive ID. A mystery to ponder.

Pausing to absorb a tranquil landscape was a wonderful way to start the day.
