Marinated vegetables and bacon/sun dried tomato sausage. All of the vegetables were grown in Ontario, some within 30km of home. The sausage was made in the grocery store right here in town.
From the smoker: back ribs, jalapeno cheddar sausage, potatoes transformed into potato salad. From the grill: romaine lettuce with bread crumbs. From the kitchen: Sliced and seasoned carrots.
We had to have some fair food. A booth offered falafel and souvlaki yet that didn’t quite seem like fair food. I settled on this sausage, ad added some hot peppers. Yum!
