Dinner on the way.

Marinated vegetables and bacon/sun dried tomato sausage. All of the vegetables were grown in Ontario, some within 30km of home. The sausage was made in the grocery store right here in town.

No photo tonight . . .

. . . instead, a recipe.

1 tsp garlic salt

  3. Add cauliflower and stir thoroughly to coat the cauliflower.
  4. Turn onto large roasting pan and arrange evenly.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring or shaking 2 or 3 times.

Modified from a recipe in the book Serving Up the Harvest by Andrea Chesman.

Attractive

Brussels sprouts are quite tasty roasted. The plants are also quite pretty.

Look at the cute little misshapen pumpkin

Only it is not cute, nor is it a pumpkin. If it is like its brethren, it is an angry little thing.

Do you know what it is?
