Favourite.

Johnny Jump-ups are perhaps my favourite spring flower.

A close-up image of a Johnny Junp-up bloom.

Pretty.

Captured these blooms in an untended area at my workplace. Haven’t yet determined what the plant is – thinking a wild pea or other legume. Whatever, they are quite pretty.

It’s Lucy’s turn.

Portrait.

This Mourning Dove remained on the shepherd’s crook long enough for me to take its portrait.

Profusion.

A profusion of very cheery wildflowers.

Does it not?

This African Violet sits on the window sill above the kitchen sink. It has most lovely blooms, does it not?

Cheerful

This aster?, species unknown, added cheerful colour to my walk through some tall brush.

At rest, revisited.

Lucy’s turn to rest on a dog bed (that she ruffled up) after a session playing fetch. What a pretty girl!

Version 2

Cheerful

This flower greets me every morning at work. It inhabits a bed of wildflowers next to one entrance and I made an executive decision when the lawn care team arrived, instructing them to leave the bed untouched. (A co-worker uncharitably calls them weeds.)

Cheery

These dwarf daffodils add bright and cheery colour to our yard.

Good photo Faye!
