I was fortunate to see the rising sun briefly appear above the horizon before disappearing behind a deck of clouds.

I me across these two moths while puttering in the backyard. Their wingspan was about 5 inches or 12 centimeters. I learned they are Cecropia silkmoths. Lovely and wondrous creatures.

Forget-me-nots. One of my favourite flowers; and a timely reminder of my connection(s) to people important to me.

This vista was worth more than all the gold I might care to own.
