Late afternoon today was a good time to stop, reflect for a moment, give thanks for blue sky and sun.
I will not post tomorrow. Looking forward to time with the dogs and a good book.

Immensity revisited
In the flatlands, the sky stretches virtually if not completely from horizon to horizon. The immensity, the feeling, of it cannot be captured in one regular image.

Ranks of altocumulus march diagonally across the sky.
Skyscape
Quite a thunderstorm rolled over last night. The sky was very active; there was a lot of lightning and wind. The air aloft was very dynamic and I was compelled to try to capture some of the dynamism. What a marvellous reminder that in the face of nature, god, what have you, we are puny and insignificant.
Feather
This feathery cirrus led my eye from almost directly above me, all the way across the sky to the western horizon. What a glorious work of art.
