Welcome break
I stopped to appreciate a welcome break from January’s largely overcast sky.
Lines
Lines plowed into a field lead to a farm house, outbuildings, and bush.
Grateful
I was most grateful for this look at blue sky and cirrus clouds during our extended spell of cloudy weather.

An unexpected, appreciated, break in the cloud deck made for a bright sky and dark landscape
Grey
Grey clouds dominate a late January landscape.
I try to be grateful for this season’s muted colours. I’m forced to look more closely to find beauty now and will be more appreciative of the colours of late winter and spring blooms.

It’s official.
We have adopted Fitzi.
The adoption contact is signed by all parties (while Fitzi didn’t sign we judge from the photo that he’s OK with the arrangement).
A deep and heartfelt ‘thank you’ to NOLA Lab Rescue to let us foster and then to adopt him. I’m very moved by their trust and faith in us. He’s the right dog at the right time.
