We are happy to share our back yard with this little fellow. I do not mind putting the dogs into a sit-stay inside, then going out to let Chip know that we are coming and therefore ensure Chip is safe before letting the hounds out. It is the right thing to do.

I stopped this morning to take a few photos. This one best captured the feel of the morn – very hot (26C), very humid, very still. A day and a landscape waiting for relief, for release, from the unusually long hot spell we have endured for almost a week.
