By paying attention.

By paying attention as well as not hurrying to my destination, I can – and do – stop to admire and capture a striking sunrise.

Sunrise, Lambton County.

Fingernail moon.

Friday morning was clear, so it was a wonderful opportunity to admire the waning fingernail moon.

Ablaze.

This mornings’ sky was ablaze.

Lovely.

Thursday’s morning sky was lovely. While getting up at 0445 AM to do what I need to do, then get to work at a reasonable time is at times more than a little unpleasant, viewing such beauty is a reasonable trade-off.

First blush.

The first blush of the morning sun graces an old barn.

Had to stop.

My morning commute was graced by this most marvellous scene. I was compelled to stop and enjoy the beauty.

Sunrise, May 05.

Although greeting every new day is a blessed event, this new day’s spectacle was truly remarkable and I’m thankful to have witnessed it.

Sliver

Water ponded in a field reflects only a tiny sliver of a gorgeous late winter dawn.
