Burst

On a lovely morning, the sun bursts over the horizon. What a lovely scene.

Sunrise, through a tree.

Sandwiched between blue-grey clouds and dull tan field, a sliver of sky promises some sunshine.

A sliver of the moon rides high above feathered clouds and a shadowed bush.

On the ground, all is still dark, hidden. Above, a riot of colour and beauty.

At ground level, visibility was near zero. This barn perhaps 100 meters away was invisible from the roof down.

Life is so full of magic, beauty. It’s good to stop, appreciate, give thanks for these seemingly small things.

Sometimes, fog forms as relatively warm air slowly moves over the late winter snowpack. The results can be magical.

A thin layer of fog which lay just above this farmhouse, then apparently descended to ground level beyond it made for quite an image.
