Fortunate.

Cumulus began towering nearby and eventually brought some rain to the folks fortunate enough to be in its path.

Last image.

The last image I will share from our recent camping trip, another shot of a truly marvellous sunset.

We were truly blessed to witness this.

Captured.

I captured the seagull shortly before sunset as it made a low level pass nearby.

It was very interesting to watch a number of seagulls, during this evening outing, obviously feed on flying insects. They craned their necks up, down, sideways, altered their flight pattern in order to snatch food. We had never observed this behaviour.

Lovely creature.

I came across this lovely creature while on a woodland walk.

Attractively highlighted.

Illuminated by early morning sunlight, this Turkey Vulture’s feathers were most attractively highlighted.

American Redstart.

Capturing this attractive bird in my viewfinder was one struggle. Identifying it was a bit of another struggle. I had never seen an American Redstart before.

The great good fortune.

Faye and me recently met friends. All of us had the great good fortune to enjoy a lovely sunset.

Focused.

Lucy’s attention was entirely focused on a squirrel in the tree that shades our deck.

Brilliantly.

This hibiscus flower shone brilliantly in an evening sunbeam.

Terrain.

This is a close-up of the terrain on Lucy’s back and hip.
