Striking

The light this evening was so striking that I was compelled to stop several times, admire, photograph, and give thanks for such a stunning gift.

Brigden Fall Fair

This fair is a long-time standard of fall events in southwest Ontario. It’s on Thanksgiving weekend. Faye and I went this year.

It was a lovely, crisp morning. We were there before most of the crowds turned up. I’. post a series of photos.

Quilts and quilting are a staple of fairs and we toured the barn hosting the quilts entered in the judging contest. This wall hanging caught my eye.

Still. Life.

While the leaves may be still, the turfgrass and creeping Charlie are full of life.

A riot

Breathtaking colour and form awaited me this crisp, glorious morning. I am so thankful to see such beauty, and to be able to share it with you.

Stop and look

I passed through the gate on my way to the car this morning. This work of art clung to the gate I could have glanced at it, said ‘neat’ and kept moving. Instead I stopped to admire and give thanks.

The more I look, the more I see.
