Squally weather abounded today, which is quite unusual. Here the sun shone, a few kilometers away visibility was a few hundred meters in falling, blowing, and drifting snow. An interesting drive home.
Back on Thursday.

Back on Thursday.

I raced a thunderstorm today, getting home mere minutes before it arrived with a brief downpour and small hail.

Not a political reference. It is a reference to how, from bottom to top, the bush, low grey stratocumulus and higher cirrus clouds, contrail, and hydro line added interest to to this lovely afternoon view and my attempt to capture it.

Field and bush await spring’s bustling, almost hectic renewal. For now, they slumber through late winter quiet time.
I will return on Thursday. Blessings to you.

A typical summer afternoon with haze blurring and softening the landscapes’s details. Only it’s February.

It was good to stop, photograph, give thanks for being blessed with a bit of sun and blue sky after such a dark month.

An elm stretches toward the sun, the clouds, and the blue, blue sky.
I will return Thursday evening. Until then, blessings.

Lines plowed into a field lead to a farm house, outbuildings, and bush.

I was most grateful for this look at blue sky and cirrus clouds during our extended spell of cloudy weather.
