Tundra Swans, Lambton County

Husk

We had a bumper crop of tomatillos this year. A curious thing we discovered is that the husk can dry, leaving only the veins as a fragile, beautiful remnant. This is preserved, framed by photography as well preserved and framed in my mind.

Striking

The light this evening was so striking that I was compelled to stop several times, admire, photograph, and give thanks for such a stunning gift.

I don’t know what Katy did, but this living, moving emerald jewel insect was completely unperturbed by my presence.
